Hi, I'm Angel. I make technology feel manageable.
Ang3l Tech is my own business: patient, plain-language help with technology for people, families and small businesses, in English or Spanish.
From a university help desk to senior engineer
My career in tech started in 1997 on a university help desk in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico: password resets, printers, and people who just needed someone patient to explain what went wrong. From there I built and looked after networks across Puerto Rico, supported government offices as a contractor, and over the last decade ran the systems that teams at companies like Kyocera, Uber, Roku, 23andMe and VMware rely on every day.
Lately I have been building with AI: running AI agents and local AI models in my own homelab, connecting AI assistants to real systems so they can help run them, and using them to build this business, with a person, me, making every decision.
Ang3l Tech is where I bring that experience back to where it started: helping people and small businesses with their technology, one conversation at a time, in English or Spanish.

The same care I give my own systems
Ang3l Tech runs on servers I build and look after myself, including this website. These are the habits I use there every day, and the ones I bring to your home or business.
Back up first, every time
Before anything changes, there is a backup, and I check that it is complete. If a change goes wrong, we go back instead of starting over.
Try it on a copy first
Every change to this website is tried on a separate test copy, then a preview, before it goes live. For a business, the same idea: test before your customers see it.
Check it like a customer
"The installer said it finished" is not the same as "it works." I open the real pages, try the real login, and look on a phone, the way you or your customers would.
Security without the drama
Passwords live in a password manager, never in notes or emails. Each account gets only the access it needs. Business email gets proper protection against scammers pretending to be you.
The real stories behind these habits: It said “done.” It wasn’t. · The one line that broke three websites · Why my network kept dropping at 3:35 in the morning
What you can expect
Plain language
I explain what I am doing and why, without jargon.
You stay in control
Your accounts and passwords stay yours. I work with you watching, and ask before I change anything.
Honest about limits
If something is outside my expertise, I will tell you plainly. Then I can research it and help, or bring in a specialist to work on it with you.
