A homelab you actually understand.
For curious beginners and busy technologists: plan, fix and document your home server setup, with the trade-offs explained, not just the steps. In English or Spanish.
Where people usually get stuck
Planning and hardware
What to buy, what to reuse, and what you don't need yet.
Networking
Addresses, DNS, remote access and keeping things private.
Storage and backups
Backups you have actually tested, and a way back when something breaks.
Virtualisation and containers
Proxmox, Docker and friends, explained in terms of what you want to run.
Documentation
Notes you will understand in six months, when you have forgotten how it works.
Troubleshooting
A second set of eyes when something stopped working and you don't know why.
Sessions
Prices are final, with no sales tax added.
A screen-share session, then a one-page prioritised plan for your lab.
- 60 to 90 minutes
- One-page plan afterwards
Something is broken and you want it fixed and explained.
- Remote, you stay in control
- Tested backups before risky changes
- No-cost follow-up if it just needs more time
A short series to build a first homelab together, once the Clarity Calls show what people need.
- Ask to be told when it opens
Good to know
Is this advice or hands-on work?
Both, your choice. I can teach you, so you can do the work yourself in the future, or I can do the hands-on work so you don't have to worry about it.
Do you log in to my servers?
Never with standing access. For hands-on work we use screen sharing that you control, or a temporary account that you remove when we are done.
