How I can help

The everyday tech that gets in the way

If it plugs in, connects to Wi-Fi or asks for a password, I can help.

Computers and phones

Slow laptop, a new phone to set up, an update that went sideways. We sort it out together.

Wi-Fi and home network

Dead spots, a router nobody remembers the password for, or devices that keep dropping off.

Smart home devices

Doorbells, cameras, speakers and plugs, set up so they work for everyone in the house.

Photos and backups

Make sure family photos and important files are in more than one safe place.

Scams and passwords

Spot the tricks, set up a password manager or passkeys, and feel calmer online.

Home servers

For the curious: a second set of eyes on your homelab, backups and self-hosted apps.

How it works

Simple from the first message

No ticket queue and no script. You talk to the person doing the work.

  1. Tell me what is going on

A few lines in your own words is enough. No tech vocabulary needed.

  2. We agree on a plan

I explain what I think is happening and what it would take, before any work starts.

  3. Fix it, or learn it

I fix it with you watching, or show you how, whichever you prefer.

  4. If it isn't fixed, we follow up

If the problem can be fixed but needs more time, the follow-up session is at no cost.

Who you will work with

A patient technologist, not a call center.

Ang3l Tech is run by Angel Rivera. The difference is patience, translation and respect: you should leave understanding your own setup a little better than before.

Questions

Things people usually ask

Do I need to know tech words?

No. Describe it the way you would to a friend. Explaining it back in plain language is part of the job.

Do you help in Spanish?

Sí. Help is available in English or Spanish, whichever you are more comfortable with.

Remote or in person?

Both. Remote help works from anywhere. In-person visits cover the Sacramento region and the Bay Area: no travel charge within about 20 miles of central Sacramento, $25 for about 20 to 40 miles, $60 beyond that.

How much does it cost?

Tech Help starts at $55 for a 30-minute remote Quick Fix; a one-hour session is $95 remote or $145 in person. Prices are final, with no sales tax added. See all Tech Help prices →

What if it can't be fixed?

If the problem can be fixed but isn't solved in the session, or simply needs more time, the follow-up session is at no cost. If it is outside what I can fix, I will tell you plainly.

Not sure where to start?

Send a few lines about what is going on. A real person reads every message.
